One Response to “Nu-Soul artists get Grammy Love!”

  1. Don’t be surprised to see Ledisi take Best New Artist. I know everyone thinks Winehouse or Swift are locks, but considering Winehouse may have shot herself in the foot with all of her “antics” and the fact that Taylor Swift is only 18 years old…I’m thinking Ledisi has a better-than-average shot at this award. If they allow her to perform on the show, IT’S OVER! Even if she doesn’t win, she already has.

She’s a “true” R&B artist…so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the voting majority will see that and give her Best R&B Album. Love Chaka. Love Jill. But it’s Ledisi’s turn. Sorry.
