Treasure Island Festival in San Francisco

wide shot

Nu-Soul was in the house at the Treasure Island Festival up in San Francisco on September 15. It was a two day festival but Day One was all about electronica and eclectic beats. The performances included an energetic M.I.A., who brought about 30 audience members up on stage; the deep beats and rock flavor of Ghostland Observatory; the Bay area hip-hop of Zion I; the nu-jazz flavors of Mocean Worker; and the worldly delights of Thievery Corporation to name a few. It was a beautiful day in the Bay!
