Nu-Soul at the Winter Music Conference 2008 - Photos
The Nu-Soul crew was definitely making their presence felt at the 2008 Winter Music Conference in Miami. From March 25-30 it was all about cramming in as many parties as possible, connecting with loads of music insiders, and dancing until the sun came up. This year the team enjoyed a variety of genres and parties featuring the best talent from around the world.
Some of the highlights included:
Bass Sessions - Craze, Z-trip, Assault and more dropped the bass and turntablism tricks on the rooftop of Nocturnal in downtown Miami.
Bassrush - LA’s drum&bass massive took over Miami!
Bring On the Beats - All day pool party celebrating the best in breakbeat music.
Om Miami - Legendary San Francisco label Om Records presented five rooms in a tropical oasis. Everything from house to soul with sets and performances from Mark Farina, Heather, Colette, Johnny Fiasco, Samantha James, Black Spade, Vikter Duplaix, and a surprise appearance from Lisa Shaw at 7am that rocked everyone’s world!
Scion Pool Party - Electro for the cool kids by Digitalism and Boyz Noize
Future Sound of Breaks - The biggest breakbeat event in the world did not disappoint!
Art Of Seduction - The magnificent Hotel Victor hosted this night of future soul with King Britt, Vikter Duplaix, and Kaye-Ree
Aquabooty - Miguels Migs and company in the gorgeous Opium Garden
